New version of the UCLG Position Paper on Aid Effectiveness

CIRCULAR 15

 Dear CIB members,

The CIB Working Group is pleased to send you the new version of the UCLG Position Paper on Aid Effectiveness, which will be presented to the UCLG World Council in Guangzhou, China, on 13 November 2009 for approval (see attachment). We are very grateful for all contributions from the CIB members in delivering case studies.

Should you have any comments or observations, please feel free to let us know by October 16.

After this short consultation round, we will include the final changes after which the translations into French and Spanish will be made. A designed copy of the document will be distributed at the UCLG World Council. Upon approval, text boxes will be included in the Support Paper and the final document will be printed in a glossy publication.

Thanks again for the support of all of you and we hope to see you at our CIB meeting in Guangzhou on November 11, from 11h15 to 13h00.
