Drug action

The drug has a toning and strengthening effect on the heart and lungs, normalizes blood flow in the coronary and cerebral vessels, lowers blood pressure, normalizes blood pressure and heart rate, strengthens the heart muscle. It has anti-inflammatory effect on the heart and internal organs. Arjuna reduces cholesterol activity, removes cholesterol from the body, relieves the symptoms of hypertension, alleviates insomnia, relieves headaches, improves concentration. The drug will also be useful to people suffering from liver cirrhosis.

Arjuna can be used as a standalone drug for the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases and complex therapy together with other drugs.

Indications for use

Any disease of the heart and lungs;

Coronary heart disease, heart attack, stroke;

Heart failure; – irregular pulse, painful palpitations;

Myocarditis, myocardiodystrophy;

Insomnia of mental nature, stress, mental anxiety.

Drug Contraindications: pregnancy, lactation, individual intolerance of the drug.

Method of use:

Preventive treatment: 1 capsule before bed for three months. In case of the treatment of heart disease: 1 capsule three times a day twenty minutes before meal during a month.

It is understood that in Ayurveda there is no clearly defined dosage, everything is appointed individually by an Ayurvedic physician on the basis of age, weight, condition of a patient and other individual characteristics. Due to the fact that not everyone has the opportunity to visit an Ayurvedic doctor, we specify the minimum dosage. However, it is not necessary to increase the dose without the advice of a qualified professional.

Contraindications:

The plant should not be taken by children, during pregnancy and during breast-feeding. Since it is assumed that Terminalia Arjuna reduces blood sugar levels, people, who suffer from diabetics, need to adjust the dosage of their medications with a doctor. Also due to the lower sugar levels you should stop receiving Terminalia Arjuna for two weeks before any planned abdominal surgery. Before receiving the plants you should consult a doctor.
