Aspirin Dispersible pills can be used for the treatment of head and tooth pain, rheumatism, sciatica, migraine or menstrual pain and relieving the symptoms of colds, influenza and fever. Actually, this is a highly diverse and useful drug that should be kept in any first aid kit.

To use Aspirin for the treatment of a sore throat, dissolve the pill in water and gargle the solution.

For additional effect, Aspirin can be combined with paracetamol.

Indications

Aspirin is the best choice for the patients who prefer easy-to-use anesthetics, as the dispersible pills must not be swallowed.
The drug can be used only by the patients over the age of 16.
Take 1-3 tablets with water, with an interval of four hours. Dispersible pills should be dissolved in water before using.
Avoid exceeding the maximum daily dosage (12 pills a day).
Aspirin can be taken during or after the meal.

Adverse effects

Sickness, stomach swelling, subcutaneous bleeding, hearing impairment and nasal bleeding (contact your doctor at once, if the latter persist).

If any of these adverse effects become bothersome, stop taking this drug and contact your doctor.

Precautions

You should avoid using Aspirin in the following cases:

– breastfeeding or the last trimester of pregnancy

– stomach ulcer (including in history)

– haemophilia

– allergy to Aspirin or any of its components.

– children under the age of 16.

Inform your doctor about the following conditions:

– lactose intolerance

– asthma

– dehydration

– G6PD deficiency

Consult your doctor before starting the treatment if you’re taking any of these drugs:

Metoclopramide

Anticoagulants

Steroids or anti-inflammatory drugs

Coricosteriods (for example, hydrocortisone)

Anti-epileptic drugs (for example, phenytoin or sodium valproate)

Medicines for hypertension (for example, diuretics or ACE inhibitors)

Probenecid

Antacids

Anti-depressants (for example, citalopram)

Methotrexate
